For the development of emotional intelligence

Each of us has met our own little monster — our fears and worries that we often try to avoid or hide. But, surprisingly, these little monsters can become our loyal friends, guiding us toward understanding and accepting our own emotions.

In the form of an interactive theater performance, children will have the opportunity to create their own “Little Monster” — a reflection of their fear — and their own “Happiness,” bringing them to life and trying to understand them through play. This experience will help children recognize and name their emotions, allowing them to better cope with challenges.

Main themes and values of the performance:

• Getting to know emotions: Becoming aware of and naming one’s emotions is the key to self-understanding.

• Interaction and support: Children learn to value cooperation and support one another in their search for happiness and in facing fears.

• Safety and respect: The performance creates a safe space for expressing emotions and highlights the importance of mutual respect.

• Emotional flexibility: Playing with monsters helps accept all emotions and nurtures emotional intelligence.

• Responsibility for emotions: Children discover how to influence their feelings and share happiness with others.

• Diversity of emotions: All emotions are important for building a healthy emotional sphere.

• Creativity as expression: Creating monsters encourages children to use creativity as a way to express feelings and expand imagination.

The interactive performance is a psychologically relieving experience that opens new horizons for perceiving and discussing emotions, while giving parents a chance to understand their child’s inner world. That’s why the presence of a close adult during the performance is required.
