Yana, our inspiring director, comes from Kharkiv.
Between 2011 and 2016, she studied at the Kharkiv Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts, where she obtained the qualification of Puppet Theatre Director. From 2015 to 2018, she worked at the Kharkiv Regional Children and Youth Creative Centre as the manager of the Zhyly-Buly Puppet Theatre Model Performance Ensemble. She started her career as a director with the Lviv Puppet Theatre in 2017. She also teaches acting at Lviv Franko National University.

In 2016, Yana staged the play Physical-Hello at the Chernihiv Dovzhenko Regional Puppet Theatre;
In 2017, she produced Festive Dreams for the Lviv Academic Regional Puppet Theatre (playwright Marta Huryn, designer Ulyana Kulchytska (2017));
In 2018, her new work – Alice in the Wonderland – premiered at the Mykolaiv Academic Regional Puppet Theatre.

She presented the play Festive Dreams at the Biennale of Stage Design (Tbilisi, Georgia, 2018)
