The war still goes on, and the threat of a nuclear strike is rising. We are afraid, but no longer with fear. Just like before, we joke, drink coffee and tea, go to work, and greet our neighbors.
We’ve already learned to make plans for tomorrow, knowing it might never come. For some, it has become normal to prepare for their own funeral just as early as for their wedding, or to arrange a neighborhood orgy before a possible nuclear explosion. Someone has turned into a siren-shifter, and someone still recalls their encounter with the Atomic Mermaid.
What will remain in our memories of these days? We’ll find out later. For now, we go on living a normal life under abnormal circumstances…
